Week 7 Discovering who I am

This was a good week that was very intense workout. Learning to weight lift properly. One has to remember that muscle weighs more than fat.  I keep telling me myself that because getting on the scale every morning does something  to  your mindset.  It’s an emotionally roller coaster.

So, I tell myself that you have worked very hard all week and your building muscle to eliminate the fat, it will weigh more.  Just keep moving along your journey to greatness!  You can do this. You have only 20 pounds to go to getting your sexy and fit look. So I look at how my clothes fit and how loose they are which tell me I am still loosing weight in inches. 

We have to change our mindset and set realistic goals as we train our bodies.  I am realizing whonInam each day on this journey! I am falling in love with the new me and the old me is fading away!

Week 4

Well the week was a struggle but so far I have made it. The biggest thing for me is my cravings for chocolate and fried chicken. I keep telling myself eat some cashews or drink more water. I need to distract my cravings. It’s been four weeks since starting this new journey to getting the rest of this weight off.

It’s been challenging and I am learning my body. Muscle ache and soar and our trainer keeps saying that’s a good sign. I will admit this last week my water intake on the weekend was a struggle.

Final,  I was regrouping my goals, focusing on where I am, and where I need to be, and where I am not. It’s time to focus on a plan to get to where I need to be.  Most definitely time to come up with a solid strategy to get my goals and plan fully implemented by March 31.

Time to push myself to the max! The sky is the limit and nothing can stop me. When you find yourself angry and frustrated it’s time to reevaluate your life and your goals. It’s ok to  sometime you loose sight, but you got to reconnect and regain your position so that you are focused. As my trainer would say  the big bear was roaring in my face this week and I am facing it head on.

Getting healthy and getting my sexy back is going to be an amazing journey!

Week 3 Its getting warmer outside

It’s time to start going outside now that the weather is warming up. Great opportunity to power walk and jog lightly so that you can clear your mind and relax to let go of the long and stressful day!

What better way then to take a power walk outside o. A beautiful day. A nice brisk walk. By the way, I have lost 4 pounds of the 25 that is my target goal! Excited about that as I am still on target to accomplishing and achieving my goals. Did you set goals that are realistic and achievable?  Are you turning the page or closing the book? Time to write a new chapter in the book of life!

Week 2 miletstone

This was a hard week but I got through it. It really was a struggle this week as my body takes in its monthly cravings for chocolate so I had to truly fight it. Especially with the delivery of the famous girls scout cookies! Lord have mercy I actually resisted the temptation of eating a cookie.

Well I reached a milestone today with our workout that was so hard but I didn’t give up even though my mind and body was saying stop. I kept going and completed the task. It was a productive week and the two weeks have paid off as I have lost 5 pounds.

New month and week 2 challenge

Today was a day to sit and reflect how far I have come and how far I have to go! My journey to healthier, sexier, more confident outside and inside is just around the corner.

Each day my  journey gets better and I am pushing forward with week 2 of our Get Health Get Sexy 2015. I can see me standing at week 12 looking sexier and healthier.

I am off to a new mindset of healthy!

Eating Healthy and loosing weight

Eating healthy and loosing weight is a mindset. You have to change your mind before you can began to even loose any weight. Wrapping your mind around nutrition is key!

Each person is different but what I am finding out is that reading up on nutrition, supplements, and detox is beneficial. It’s been beneficial for me in my journey thus far. I love it and on this Gorgeous journey I have fallen in love with home made smoothies and protein drinks.

Getting healthy is a learning process because you learned a bad habit now you have to train your mind to create new habits of healthy choices!

Until tomorrow, keep pushing forward and keep renewing your mind to getting sexy and healthy in 2015!
